New Honorary Secretary Required

by andrew.johnson | February 11th, 2013

It is the intention of our current Honorary Secretary to stand down from his position at the next AGM having served in post with distinction for 15 years. He has also held the position as treasurer for 15 years and will continue to do so for a while longer until a new Honorary Secretary has been elected and settled into the post. The Honorary Secretary is a key member of our organisation and the Chairman would like to encourage the younger members of the Branch to consider standing for election to this post as it is vital that our good work continues uninterupted over the coming months and years. The new incumbent will be mentored by the current Secretary throughout the year in a ‘rolling handover’ so that nobody ends up in at the deep end. Could any interested party please speak to the Chairman directly in advance of the AGM, or else e-mail him via this website’s contact page.
